There’s a great event coming up in early September in Grand Isle! This free concert serves as the kick-off for the Aroostook County Bluegrass Jams. Kentucky-based Dave Adkins & Mountain Soul is bringing its hard-driving and soulful bluegrass to Maine, and the band’s fiddle player, Layla Cantafio, hails from near-by New Brunswick, Canada. The event is supported in part by a Creative Communities grant from the Maine Arts Commission and an Arts and Humanities grant from the Maine Humanities Commission.
