20th Annual WMPG Bluegrass Spectacular

It’s back! For the 20th Anniversary of the WMPG Bluegrass Spectacular, we’ve got some old favorites and a group of young pickers making a name for themselves across New England, for yet another installment of your favorite night of the year.

As always, your hosts are the World Famous Grassholes, back once again to set fire to the One Longfellow stage (metaphorically speaking!) with their white-hot licks and undeniable Grasshole energy. They’ll be joined this year by Cumberland Crossing, a Maine bluegrass super-group of veteran musicians deeply invested in the bluegrass tradition, and Stillwater, the hottest young bluegrass band in Maine, fresh out of Orono and ready to rip.

And, as always, all proceeds from the show go to benefit WMPG, the finest little radio station in Portland (and beyond!) and a steadfast supporter of Maine music and musicians. Come on out and get ready for some high-and-lonesome good times!
