As you see, our website has a new look. We hope this inspires you to visit here frequently and to become part of our community. We encourage our members to keep us informed of upcoming bluegrass shows and events, and public invited bluegrass jams, by utilizing the event form or emailing us at bmam.calendar@gmail.com. We would hope that the “Who’s Picking Where” page continues to be the place to go to find out where MAINE bands and MAINE events are happening! After all, the intent is for all of us to go out and support our many talented musicians here in the state as well as supporting the venues that continue to bring bluegrass to the public.
You will see some new features now and in the future. The BMAM archive page is a link to our facebook archive page, but will be evolving to feature interesting pictures and facts of the history of bluegrass in Maine. Also, please visit our BMAM Committee page, any members who are interested in any of the committees are encouraged to reach out to us and let us know that you would like to be involved. For those new to bluegrass, or who are just wanting to learn, the featured jam song page has a list of common jam songs as well as the feature song. So have fun looking around and visit us (and the facebook page) often! Be sure to subscribe to our news feed by filling out the subscription box at the bottom of the page.
