DESCRIPTION:Sunday, August 17, turns the Marsh River Theater into an old-time party featuring award-winning country, old-time, and American Roots duos Caleb Klauder and Reeb Willms and Golden Shoals. From 4 PM to 6 PM, each band will perform a dedicated set, showcasing original compositions and traditional tunes. Beginning at 7 PM, caller Chris Ricciotti will lead a community square dance, inviting dancers of all ages to join the fun.\nCaleb Klauder and Reeb Willms bring their celebrated blend of classic country, old-time, trad bluegrass, and original American Roots music to audiences around the world. Known for crystal clear harmonies and driving songs, the duo has anchored the Pacific Northwest roots scene with their work in the Foghorn Stringband and the Caleb Klauder Reeb Willms Country Band.\nGolden Shoals is a fiddle and guitar duo with a “rousing old-time-style music that’s fueled by acerbic modern-day wit” (No Depression Magazine). They are no strangers to traditional music, having placed in contests including Clifftop (3rd place 2023, 4th place 2022), Mount Airy, The Grand Masters Fiddlers Championship and Galax.
